I saw on Twitter a few people talking about one or two of the new features of ACS (some for which I am particularly excited) and I asked myself what other enhancements/features/fixes did they release. I may be out of the loop in receiving these announcements but I figured if you are like me this post will help you. Look for continued enhancements to Run SQL Scripts! This area is being enhanced every release; this release is no exception. Content Assist is a huge advancement in providing easier access to fields and functions of querying DB2 data. NOTE from IBM: Java 8 is required for ACS 1.1.8.3 (open IBM i ACS and select Help -> About to see what version you are running).

- Additional Hardware Management Interfaces on the provided list of candidates (RFE 134333, 134973)

Since Tape Management 2 was added, the Tape Management plugin was renamed from tapemgmt to tapemgmt1 (reference GettingStarted).

- Additional option for com.ibm.iaccess.dataxfer.SheetId (RFE 135210)
